Looks like Sony Ericsson isn’t going to be the only ones working on an Android handset as it seems Nokia could be releasing a new cellphone powered by Google’s Android as well, presumably in the best interests of its business on the whole. Word has it this new touchscreen device will be released at the Nokia World conference this coming September, as Nokia tries an unprecedented move to increase its marketshare in the smartphones market. We guess this move would sit down well with just about anybody, so apart from some wounded pride from the Finnish cellphone giant for bowing down to market forces to a certain degree, it could be one heck of a masterstroke in the long run.
