Guide dogs are extremely handy when it comes to helping the blind get around, and this time round the Peepo GPS device could provide further aid by charting the course while guiding Lassie to the desired destination via a set of vibrations, steering him in the right way without causing any physical harm. The Peepo GPS comprises of a handheld GPS unit that relies on vocal commands to register the destination before drawing up a route, while the other component is connected to the guide dog’s handle, where it will vibrate in Left, Right and Forward zones accordingly. In addition, the device comes with a touch-sensitive “return home same way function” just in case.
