Pentax’s latest K-7 DSLR camera is now officially available via Amazon. Out as a body-only device, there doesn’t seem to be any bundles in sight at the moment, although the body alone will set you back by a whopping $1,300. Needless to say, at that price point, this 14.6-megapixel shooter is definitely the flagship product from Pentax, and it doesn’t come up short either when it comes to capturing 720p video alongside a microphone jack for external input – making it go one up on other cameras in its class. The body itself is made out of a magnesium alloy that is dust and temperature resistant. With a 3″ LCD display, you get to review your photos and videos on the go, while helping you frame shots using Live View.
