Pico projectors have been released for quite some time already, and guess there is always room for improvement with the first of these to include an upgrade in resolution – apparently, it looks set to skip traditional resolution sizes and jump straight to full HD instead, according to Syndiant’s CTO, Karl Guttag in an interview. Syndiant is famous for developing LCoS microdisplays and display processors, and he claims that a pico projector with full HD capability will definitely see huge demands – hopefully someone can solve the power problem in due time (Karl gives a 3-year timeframe for companies to work out all the kinks).
