
Princeton recently announced the availability of its PUC-AVBOX – an upscan converter that allows you to enjoy video playback in enhanced detail from your DVD player or VHS recorder onto a standard LCD monitor. The PUC-AVBOX will come equipped with VGA, component, composite, S-Video, Audio RCA (L/R) and stereo mini jack (3.5mm) connectivity, alongside support for D-Sub output and a PiP (Picture-in-Picture) function. You will be able to choose from the following output resolutions and aspect ratios to suit your liking (and LCD monitor, of course) :-
- XGA 1,024 × 768 (4:3)
- SXGA 1,280 × 1,024 (16:10)
- WXGA 1,440 × 900 (5:4)
- WSXGA 1,680 × 1,050 (16:10)
- Full HD 1,920 × 1,080 (16:9)
- WUXGA 1,920 × 1,200 (16:10)
