Samsung’s 11.6″ netbook, the N510 will be released sometime later this month, making it the first ION-powered netbook from the Korean consumer electronics giant. It will carry most standard netbook specifications including an Intel 1.66GHz Atom processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and the Windows XP operating system. Samsung has clearly flouted Intel’s netbook rules that restricts the display to just 10.2″ in size, as the N510 comes with 11.6″ of viewing goodness. Expect to fork out around $800 for the N510 when it is available.
