Samsung Rolls Out New Notebook Display

Samsung is already a famous name when it comes to notebook displays, and they have just unveiled that they will be producing a new notebook display that will come in a 14.5″, LED-backlit configuration that should cost around the same as similarly sized or larger displays that rely on older and less efficient fluorescent backlights. There is no word on the resolution count though, although we do know that these new LCDs will most probably retain the 16:9 aspect ratio and 1,366 x 768 resolution that are common in this day and age. HP is rumored to be the first to use this new Samsung 14.5″ LCD display, where it will ship starting from next year onwards.
