Samsung’s YP-R1 is a rather tiny portable media player that will be arriving in South Korea sometime next month, but unfortunately we still do not have a price on the device yet. What we do know, however, is that the YP-R1 will sport a 2.7″ QVGA touchscreen display with haptic feedback, DNSe 3.0, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, dictionary, a voice recorder, TV-out, an integrated FM radio and recording capability. Battery life has been rated at 25 hours for audio playback, and around 5 hours for video. Expect the most popular audio and video codecs to be supported as well.
