
Talk about going green at a future amusement park – the Schweeb makes room for a fun racing experience in Kiwi-land. This system comprises of enclosed pedal pods that take up half the required energy of a racing bike, and could probably replace inter-city vehicles sometime down the road assuming governments have the political will to implement such a system. This weatherproof pod is able to hit a top speed of 56mph if you go all out, and the more people there are in a pod train, the more efficient it becomes. We wonder what would happen if you were out on a wild night with friends, and have to pedal your way home at three in the morning. Guess cabbies might have to take up the midnight shift now…
