
While Microsoft is losing market share when it comes to operating systems, that doesn’t mean we can discount the software giant’s role in this sphere for quite some time to come. TmaxSoft, however, will be challenging the traditional Windows platform with its own operating system known as Tmax Window. It has taken over 300 researchers more than 5 years to develop the system, and TmaxSoft claims that Tmax Window will boast a high compatibility rate with Microsoft software titles. The chairman himself touts that the system is more stable, so perhaps there won’t be any more BSODs? Tmax is ambitious enough to chart a route to garner 30% of Windows’ global market share by the time 2015 rolls around – do you think that will happen?
