
Don’t you guys think that it is about time somebody approved the 802.11n standard? According to Bob Heile, the chairman of the IEEE 802.15 working group on Personal Area Networks, he confirmed that the IEEE 802.11n draft standard has finally been sent to the Standards Review Committee, where it ought to receive overall nods of approval from everyone else by September this year. This agonizingly slow process has taken nearly 5 years to come full circle back in the days where 802.11g still ruled supreme.
