Who would’ve thought that the ordinary Wiimote could actually be used to better one’s tennis game in real life? That’s what Mans Shapshak did by hacking his Wiimote, including Bluetooth connectivity to talk to a Bluetooth-enabled notebook, relaying results based on simple math calculations that keep track of one’s toss and serve. These results are graphed for a better visual representation of his results, making him move towards turning pro and in due time, knocking off Rafael Nadal from the #1 spot – that’s because by the time the system has been perfected, Roger Federer would have retired for a couple of years already with over 20 Grand Slams under his belt.
