3UK to roll out Mobile Wi-Fi service

3UK is set to to roll out their new MiFi Mobile Wi-Fi service before Christmas rolls around this year, giving you instant access to the 3 network through a tiny wireless modem. This modem will send out a Wi-Fi signal, enabling you to hook up to a range of Wi-Fi enabled devices to the internet instantly, doing away with the need for wired or a USB connection. In addition, there is no need for a fixed-line in this configuration since all you need would be 3’s 3G coverage to hook up. There is no word on pricing details for the MiFi, although we guess you can pencil this in as a Christmas present for the geek in your life.
