AOC’s latest 2436Vw LCD monitor is a 24″ desktop monitor that looks set to help save the planet. After all, this 1080p eco-friendly display sips less than 50W of juice while dipping below EPEAT Gold standards in order to make environmentalists carve a smile. While it relies on a basic TN panel, the AOC 2436Vw is no slouch as it can crank out a 60,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness and a 5ms typical pixel response time. You can opt for DVI or VGA input, while a USB pass-through makes room for additional peripherals. AOC has slapped a $220 price point on the 2436Vw that is readily available.
