
Apple will not send its polycarbonate MacBooks to the wilderness, as they are working on an industrial design overhaul which will see the final product being released months down the road. This new redesign will most probably result in a slimmer, lighter enclosure alongside a restructured internal architecture, making it the first time in over three years where plastic MacBooks will receive an aesthetic makeover since their 2006 launch that marked Apple’s transition to Intel processors.
