Asus has stated its intent to develop its first e-book reader before the year is over, where it will (no surprise here) fall under the Eee line. Heck, why not just rename Asus to the Eee company, after all, they’ve already released desktops, mice and other non-netbook devices under the same name as well. No idea on what specifications the Asus e-book reader will sport, but we’re pretty sure it will be rather generic in nature, where the main selling point would be the type of services it supports as people look to what digital books they can purchase/download on-the-fly wirelessly instead of whether the page can display more colors than another model.
