Automated mannequins make their mark

Flower Robotics and their automated mannequins can now be purchased or rented, where they will come in a couple of styles – full body and upper torso. The “Palette” mannequins will come with embedded sensors which are able to tell whether people are around them, followed by an intelligent turn to face that particular person while assuming an appropriate position (depending on what the mannequin is wearing, of course). Not only that, these automated mannequins come with an “intelligent system” which is able to record audience reactions so that they can learn from the past and come up with poses that are more conducive to generate a positive response.
