Cube H600HD portable media player

In the name of progress, the Cube H600HD portable media player will ditch 720p video support and settle for 1080i instead, making us wonder whether portable media players need to exhibit such blatant displays of capability or not. After all, the 5″ LCD display comes with just 800 x 480 resolution, which is already unable to cater for 720p videos decently, what more 1080i. In addition, 4GB of storage space is hardly enough to carry more than a couple of high definition movies. There is no word on pricing or availability, although we do know the Cube H600HD portable media player is able to handle a wide range of audio and video formats.
