Webcams sure have come a long way since its inception, and gone are the days of grainy resolution images being transported over 56k lines. Elecom of Japan’s latest foray into the webcam market has resulted in the UCAM-DLC300T Series, packing in 3-megapixels of shooting goodness that allows you to place this atop securely on any standard notebook display for instant video chat – assuming your notebook lacks a built-in webcam, that is. Apart from notebooks, Elecom increases this release’s versatility by including PS3 compatibility, offering 30fps image transmission. You can choose from white, black, pink and sky blue colors, where they will retail for $108 a pop thereabouts.
