FCC looks at Archos A5S

The folks at the FCC are currently looking into the Archos A5S (model 7501) Internet Media Tablet alongside rumors of the A5H (model 7502) to be released sometime in the near future. The former shares many resemblances with the 4.8″ Archos 5, although the speaker and headphone jack has been placed somewhere else. Archos has also decided to throw in a microSD memory card slot and a microUSB port for memory expansion purposes and convenient charge/data transfer capability, respectively. The FCC have put the A5S through testing for 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity, its FM transmitter and receiver. There is also mention of 3G data, although that didn’t go under the scrutiny of the FCC.
