We think that dying in a fire can be one of the most painful methods to leave this world (discounting medieval torture devices, of course), which is why it is always good to have a fire escape plan wherever you are, a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher. The Fire Alarm clock you see here seems perfect, as you’ll normally have your alarm clock placed on a bedside table, and should it pick up any signal from your current smoke alarm, it will attempt to wake you up with its own 90 decibel alarm – what we’re worried is, one might just put it to snooze, thinking it is but the next morning’s wake up call instead.
