Hitachi’s latest CP-X3010N projector was released, where it is basically an upgraded CO-X3010 with the addition of an Ethernet port and 802.11g/n connectivity. Apart from that, the CP-X3010N will also come equipped with built-in 16W speakers, a brightness level of 3,000 lumens and a contrast ratio that measures 2,000:1. Each purchase will come with Hitachi’s own Projector Control and Projector Messenger applications that allow the remote control to wield full power over the source, status, scheduling, synchronization of multiple projectors and presentation of text messages. Nice to see audio pass-through being incorporated so that background audio can be played while the projector is in standby mode. There is no word on pricing or availability at press time.
