The Ideum MT-50 has received an update, where the 50″ panel is now running at 1,280 x 800 resolution alongside a spanking new, tempered and anti-glare glass which has a fingerprint-resistant coating slapped on it. According to Ideum, the slightly textured feel to the glass offers improved finger traction, but what would impress most people would be the multi-user, multitouch system that relies on IR flood technology that supposedly works miles better when going up against ambient light while increasing accuracy. There is no word on pricing yet, but you can bet your bottom dollar even that will disappear if you want one.
