Lenovo’s IdeaCentre D400 home server will have Intel Pentium Dual Core processors running at its very heart, making this one rather speedy home theater system. It looks as though there is some space to spare within to hold 3.5″ hard drives, and hopefully it can carry more than just 4GB RAM if it were to pump out decent a performance when the situation calls for it. Methinks there is some way to go before Lenovo is able to market something like the IdeaCentre D400 effectively – perhaps they could point it in the direction of the Borg, where having a cube in your living room is able to assimilate all the home theater and entertainment duties of other devices around.
