External optical drives are dime a dozen, but Lite-On has been pretty reliable to date, unveiling their latest model known as the eTAU108 DVD writer. It weighs no more than 350 grams and connects to your computer through uSB, offering write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R/+R and DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-R/+R DL, 5x for DVD-RAM and 24x for CD-R/RW. There are only two color options to choose from, where they comprise of the safe pearl white or piano black finish. If you’re always on the go and think your netbook requires an external optical drive, why not consider the Lite-On eTAU108 as it will arrive sometime next month for around 45 Euros?
