Microsoft Office Mobile heading to Symbian smartphones

As promised, we bring you the agreement between Nokia and Microsoft, where Microsoft Office Mobile will see action on Nokia’s Symbian smartphones. Office Mobile (comprising of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote) will be made available for the Nokia E Series handsets from next year onwards, followed by other smartphones running on the S60 platform thereafter. Apart from that, Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile and Microsoft SharePoint Server will also be brought over to its smartphones in due time. How will this change the landscape of productivity in the smartphone world? There’s no more excuse of saying your Nokia handset cannot work with Microsoft software anymore…
