
OCZ is planning to launch the Colossus 1TB SSD at a price of $2500 in mid August. If you remember, this SSD was shown at Computex. Unlike many SSDs it uses the 3.5″ format and weighs 400g or so. If 1TB seems overkill for you, there’s also a 500GB version. As we suspected, this isn’t cheap by any means, but we know that SSD prices will be cut in half every 18 months…
