Word has it that the second webOS smartphone from Palm, the Palm Eos might not make it out of factory lines this year as first anticipated. However, there is some upside to this piece of news as the new Palm Eos is tipped to come with a low price on contract when released in order to compete with other affordable smartphones from AT&T. The Palm Pre’s performance so far hasn’t been exactly that stellar as initially expected, so hopefully the Eos will be able to remedy that situation. Image from Engadget.
