Verizon Wireless looks set to release the Pantech UMW190 Mobile Broadband Device which was first seen on the FCC site a couple of months ago. It connects to your notebook’s USB port (naturally), and will rely on Verizon’s EVDO Rev. A CDMA network in the US alongside affiliated GSM/EDGE/WCDMA networks whenever you bring it with you on your overseas trips, thanks to the included Vodafone SIM card within. The back of the device sports an External Antenna Booster Jack that enables you to connect a longer antenna whenever you’re in poor-coverage areas.
