Preparing the Mars invasion, one plant at a time

This robot called “Le petit prince” (or little prince) has been designed to be a miniature greenhouse that would let plants from Earth grow. The Robot’s job is to find the proper nutriment and to maintain a sustainable environment for the plant. It is supposed to learn how to best use the local resources as time goes and can also keep an eye and communicate with its fellow robots. It’s pretty far off, but the robot is just too cute to pass on. By Electrolux Design Labs
