The rescue robot you see here might probably scare you into thinking it is going to rip your innards out in a bit, but it is actually meant to extract victims in areas deemed too dangerous for human rescue workers to venture into. The robot will rely on pincer-like hands to lift victims onto its conveyor belt, pulling them into safety before leaving the area. No idea on whether these pincer-like appendages are pressure-sensitive, since some unconscious victims shouldn’t be moved in a particular manner lest their injuries end up as more severe, but then again guess some chance of survival with a higher degree of risk of more injuries is better than not making it out alive at all, eh?
