
Design engineers at RIM have come up with a bunch of deisgns that might or might not make it to the public in the future, and what you see above is but one of a handful of examples. Most of these came about circa 2007 when RIM employees were wondering what will happen when Apple released their iPhone, where some of these handsets range from the smart to some pretty ordinary designs. Selected few maintained the traditional BlackBerry form factor, while others ventured into more adventurous territory including a full or semi-QWERTY slideout keyboard.
