While there might be detractors of the Solar Power Shower, the whole exercise is to save energy when it comes to heating up water before you take a shower. Sure, the Solar Power Shower doesn’t need you to leave your water supply under direct sunlight for the entire day, but will instead take around 2 hours to heat up 8 liters of water to 140°, before it is mixed with cool water from the garden hose to offer you a heat level that is just nice. It will cost you $200 to bring this home, and seems like the perfect device to bring to a beach, washing down before you dry yourself and step into the car to head home.
