Sony has finally revealed the full-frame A850 DSLR alongside a couple more models – the mid-range A550 and A500 DSLRs which will further expand the current Alpha family. The A850 is a slightly toned down A900 despite retaining a similar 24.6-megapixel sensor, while costing $1,000 less than the A900 to retail for approximately $2,000. As for the A550 and A500, both models will fit in nicely with the rest of the Alpha family thanks to 14.2- and 12.3-megapixel sensors, respectively. The A550 will retail for $950, where you throw in another Benjamin to get a lens kit, while the A500 will retail for $750 a pop sans lens kit.
