Sony has released its latest Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 to the masses that will be one of the first few devices from their stable to feature Sony’s own Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor technology that will go some ways in improving low-light scenarios, while bringing enhancement to overall image clarity and reducing grain by an impressive amount. The TX1 will measure a mere 16.5mm in thickness, offering 10.2-megapixels of shooting goodness, a touchpanel that allows you to scroll through images effortlessly, a 3″ Clear Photo LCD Plus display, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens and a 4x telescopic zoom alongside Sony’s own Optical SteadyShot image stabilization that lets you capture neat pictures without any blur. It will come in silver, gray, pink and blue color options this September for around $380. [Press Release]
