The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 smartphone might make its public debut sometime next week according to a rumor. It seems that a press launch for the smartphone has purportedly been “confirmed” by SEMC Blog that targets sometime next week, but apart from that details are few and far between. We do know that the X2 aims to make a quantum leap over the X1, powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 alongside new panels that will boast support of the PS3′s Remote Play feature. Apart from that, the RAM will see a bump to 512MB alongside an 8.1-megapixel digital camera, a reworked and more comfortable keyboard and directional pad.
