Word has it that online retailers in Portugal and Spain could possibly reduce the price of the PS3 by a minimum of €100 to touch the €300 mark. We’re talking about the soon-to-be-extinct 80GB model here, where the Portugese version has slightly better value for money since it will be bundled with the high profile game Infamous. Such price cuts are certainly in line with rumors of a slim PS3 making its appearance in the near future, where a smaller and more svelte design would also mean a 120GB hard drive as standard in addition to smaller, cooler Cell and RSX processors.
