Let us check our calendars – yes, we’re apparently in 2009 but it seems as though the UbiSurfer netbook is stuck a few years back. How else would you explain a 7″ netbook computer that features a Linux operating system, Wi-Fi connectivity, a paltry 1GB flash memory and a dual-band SIM card that offers a year’s worth of GPRS internet connection? Since Wi-Fi hotspots are pretty much commonplace these days, we think it would be much better to rely on Wi-Fi instead of GPRS considering how slow that is. Still, if you’re interested in the UbiSurfer, it can be yours for a mere £159.
