Microsoft has announced that users will be able to give their latest operating system, Windows 7, a good test up to 120 days before they are required to fork out the dough for it. The four month trial period will end with a request for an activation code that offers proof that the software has been purchased. Originally, the trial period is supposed to last for up to 30 days although a recently discovered loophole allows users to reset the clock in the Windows 7 verification process up to three times. What do you think of this grace period – will it make or break Microsoft’s latest entry into the operating system world?
