The Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) has started to offer an update on 3D Blu-ray films recently, as they’re currently sweating it out concerning technical specifics for 3D Blu-ray films. One of the key specifications that involve 3D Blu-ray titles being brought back home would be backwards compatibility, which translates to storing not only the 3D version but a 2D version of the film on the same disc as well. No idea on when 3D Blu-ray films will be heading towards our living rooms though.
