Philips will be rolling out the Alice PDx sleep analyzer which aims to help diagnose obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep problems. This is a self-administering device that patients can set up before they nod off each night (or early in the morning if you’re a party animal), where the results of the study can be sent over to your physician of choice through an SD memory card. The Alice PDx won’t be confined for use in homes only, as it is also suitable to see action at a sleep lab or other clinical facility that offers cardio-respiratory sleep analysis.
