Apple, without the fanfare (at all) of a new product release, removed the 40GB Apple TV overnight while slashing the 160GB model price to $229 – the previous price point of the 40GB model. This means there is only one model of the Apple TV in the market at the moment, making us wonder what is in store for the Apple TV since there isn’t any replacement coming our way. Could there be a new Apple TV software update in the near future to compensate for a non-hardware update?
