Electric vehicles don’t look set to take over the roads of the world anytime soon, but if more and more transports like the Arcimoto Pulse were to be unveiled, that might very well change in a decade or so. The Arcimoto Pulse is a tandem two-seat electric car which will be powered by a 96-volt power system, where its DC electric motor is able to pump out 80 ft. lb. torque. Capable of hitting a maximum speed of 55mph, the Arcimoto Pulse will have a working range between 50 and 100 miles. It will retail for under $20,000 when available, and the first 300 of the Arcimoto Pulse will be ready to rock later in 2010.
