Artificial nose sniffs out poisonous gases

There is a new sensor developed which is able to sniff out noxious gases with on-the-nose accuracy, where tasks like identifying chemicals such as ammonia and hydrogen cyanide in under 120 seconds is performed in a snap. Developers have already come up with a handheld prototype that is affordable, making this a suitable anti-terrorist tool for authorities worldwide. It also helps alert you whenever your partner lets out a “silent killer” who did not bother to inform you ahead of time to take precautionary measures.
