ATI 5870 X2 leaked

AMD’s ATI 5870 X2 video card has leaked out recently, where this dual-GPU behemoth will take up the space of two PCI-E slots while sipping juice from a secondary power source, measuring a good foot long thereabouts. It would be interesting to see what kind of system will utilize this card, alongside a new chassis and a carefully selected motherboard. We do scratch our heads when we see HDMI out missing on the ATI 5870 X2, but in hindsight it might make sense – after all, folks who purchase this will be pure enthusiasts through and through, and this group will more or less own a separate video card and sound system.
