The iPod might be the undisputed king of the hill where portable media players are concerned, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a small slice of pie left for everyone else to fight over, and the bmorn BM-888 portable media player enters the fray. It is huge though – since it has to accommodate a 7″ LCD touchscreen display, while offering support for a wide range of audio and video formats. File transfer is as easy as plug and play through USB, and it even comes with a built-in microphone for those who want to make voice notes on the go. A microSDHC memory card slot, TV out and an integrated FM radio rounds off the list of features. It won’t come cheap, this, retailing for $149, making the new iPod nano all the more attractive.
