The Capture180 camera concept offers something different, as it will use its 180-degree fish-eye lens to shoot a 180 degree hemisphere, storing the visual information as metadata for each shot, enabling either the camera’s viewfinder, a digital photo frame or your computer monitor to come alive with these images. The warped photos will be unwrapped in-camera into a hemisphere of the image, where it makes the final image look extremely real in terms of space and depth. With the inclusion of additional metadata, one can also recompose those images down the road after being shot.
