FCC approves HP ENVY notebooks

The FCC has just given their nod of approval to the new HP ENVY line of notebooks, where it does bear a striking resemblance to Apple’s top-of-the-line MacBook Pro notebook. The 13″ model will come with the latest Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with a 1GB Radeon HD 4830 graphics card and enough space for a couple of SSD drives. You will find that the touchpad is made out of glass, whereas the keypad will feature plastic keys – something users of Macs will be familiar with. Expect the HP ENVY to feature a 6-cell battery in a slim design, alongside a footprint that is as long and wide as the ENVY itself. Nice to know this battery is removable, although a rather similar outlook as the MacBook does lend an air of it being a clone.
