The folks at the FCC have just approved the Nokia 5230 to see action Stateside assuming there are carriers that want to offer the handset, where it will offer support for 900/2100 frequencies on the WCDMA band, which rules out any form of 3G support. Apart from that, we do know that it will run on the Symbian S60 5th Edition operating system, but apart from that, this ought to be an entry-level handset.
