Hercules eCAFÉ EC-1000W netbook

Netbooks are maturing into something else – not only are they small, lightweight and portable, they now come in various editions that will appeal to the resident fashionista. The latest among these fashionbooks would be the Hercules eCAFÉ EC-1000W netbook, where it comes with a special “in-mold” designed cover that boasts a high gloss finish (hello fingerprints!) and mirror effect which will mesmerize your eyes with metallic and non-metallic colors, making it look different from all angles. Feature-wise, don’t expect anything spectacular though with a 10.1? (1,024 × 600) display, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, an integrated webcam, a trio of USB 2.0 ports and a memory card reader. Apart from that, you will also benefit from 50GB worth of online storage, where it will run on Windows 7 Starter edition. This can only mean one thing – the eCAFÉ EC-1000W will be out next month, retailing from $399 upwards.
